Olen kuunnellut aktiivisesti musiikkia niin pienestä kuin muistan. Aivot nyrjähtivät ensi kerran kuitenkin Brucen LIVE 1975-1985, U2:n Unforgettable Fire ja Dire Straitsin Brothers in Arms -yhteisiskuna joskus 1985-86 paikkeilla.

Parhain päivinä omistin yli 2000 LP-levyä, joista valtaosa oli Englannin maalta tilattuja harvinaisuuksia, mm. bluesia eri muodoissaan.

Siirryin digiaikaan mp3-tiedostojen mukana ja siellä olen pysynyt. Tervetuloa mukaan kuulemaan omia suosikkejani koottuina listoina. Eli kuuntelen aina artistin koko tuotannon läpi 1-2 kertaa ja kokoan siitä oman “bestoffini”, joka välttää kuluneimmat hitit.

Nuoruuden ykkössuosikkeja vuodesta 1987 eteenpäin, kun Hammer of the Gods iski lujaa. Siitä lähtien on ollut aika ajoin pakko kuulla. Plantin olen nähnyt pariinkin kertaan livenä, mutta sattuneesta syystä Zeppelin jäi näkemättä. Nyt 25.10. perjantaina taltioidaan bändi Apurin blogiin.
