Olen kuunnellut aktiivisesti musiikkia niin pienestä kuin muistan. Aivot nyrjähtivät ensi kerran kuitenkin Brucen LIVE 1975-1985, U2:n Unforgettable Fire ja Dire Straitsin Brothers in Arms -yhteisiskuna joskus 1985-86 paikkeilla.

Parhain päivinä omistin yli 2000 LP-levyä, joista valtaosa oli Englannin maalta tilattuja harvinaisuuksia, mm. bluesia eri muodoissaan.

Siirryin digiaikaan mp3-tiedostojen mukana ja siellä olen pysynyt. Tervetuloa mukaan kuulemaan omia suosikkejani koottuina listoina. Eli kuuntelen aina artistin koko tuotannon läpi 1-2 kertaa ja kokoan siitä oman “bestoffini”, joka välttää kuluneimmat hitit.

Iron Maiden on ollut jokaisen 70-luvulla syntyneen suomipojan korvissa 80-luvun alussa. Itselle suurempi fanitus kuitenkin lämpeni vasta 2000-luvulla. Ehkä siksi, että “bändiä kuuli nuorena jokaisen kaverin kotona ja autossa.”

Tänään 17.1. pe-illalla kunnioitan bändiä tekemällä videolistauksen.

Myöhemmin taas Apple Music -listakin tulee kuunneltavaksi, jahka se muotoutuu Youtubelistan ohessa!
